The 44th Annual PAACE Midwinter Conference on Adult Education, the largest gathering of adult educators in Pennsylvania, will be held at the Hershey Lodge, February 11 - 13, 2009. Adult educators and those from related areas will convene for the premier professional development and networking opportunity for all aspects of adult education in Pennsylvania. If you are a teacher or tutor of adults, program administrator, postsecondary educator, community collaborator, workforce development partner, trainer, publisher, or researcheror you’re simply interested, you will not want to miss this conference. Conference Schedule The Pennsylvania Association for Adult Continuing Education (PAACE) invites you to submit a proposal for presentation at the 2009 Midwinter Conference. More information is available at the Presenter Information section of the web page. A complete conference schedule will be posted once the concurrent session presentations have been confirmed. Sponsors and Exhibitors Sponsorship Opportunities For more information about sponsorship opportunities, please contact: Exhibitor Opportunities The Pennsylvania Association for Adult Continuing Education (PAACE) invites you to submit a proposal for presentation at the 2009 PAACE Midwinter Conference to be held in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The conference committee is interested in outstanding and innovative practices in all aspects of adult education including basic literacy, basic numeracy, workforce development, family literacy, English as a Second Language, volunteer/community-based literacy, correctional education, and all other areas. The program committee is looking for presentations based on successful implementation, current research, and sound practice. PAACE requests that you and your colleagues submit a proposal for a concurrent session, an informal roundtable discussion or a poster presentation.
